2.Did you try installing the drivers from the CD? If yes, did you get any error message while trying to install it?

The Windows Compatibility Center does not show any compatibility information regarding the Imation Disc Stakka drivers and OpdiTracker software. So, the only way to use it on Windows 8 is to try installing the latest versions of the drivers and the OpdiTracker software in Windows 7 Compatibility Mode and check if that helps. You may use the CD disk that you have received with the device to install the drivers and the OpdiTracker software in its compatibility mode.
